Naghmeh and the Southern Shores are a Montreal based rockin' folk band. Naghmeh is farsi for Melody, and the band first started playing together in Greenfield Park in South Shores. The Southern Shores are Don Pinkerton on drums, Seth Duin on lead guitar, Tim Charman on bass, and Naghmeh Shafiei on rhythm guitar and vocals. The four met in Montreal, after Naghmeh moved back there, and set out to realize her life long dream of being a rock n roller.

With melodious influences from Iran, songwriting inspirations from 4 continents and a degree in psychology, her life lessons come through as sassy lyrics with a throaty twist.
